M3 Ownership Thoughts, after 6 months

Hi All,

Thought i just update my experience after 6 months of ownership.

WOW, the engine noise is still something that i never get tired of hearing. Must be something in our genetic makeup that is responsible for the lift in spirits you receive when you hear and feel that V8 NA rumble

i was afraid that with the M3 having a rep of being a track car, i thought it might be uncomfortable to cruise in during normal driving. pleasantly surprised, quite the opposite.

The "M" button never grows old

Was prepared to be confronted with some little niggle or maintenance issue, funny enough my 1st DIY was a wiper blade change.

After months of research before i purchased, thought i new all the ins and outs, finding the orange LED strip lighting under the door trim was a nice surprise.

Auto dipping high beam headlights is fantastic, dont know how it works, but it just does.

i just love it and the smile it puts on my dial was well worth the wait.

Cant wait for the weekend

Great insight and welcome to a special club. When you purchase an M3, you've joined a group of people that enjoy well engineered machines. My view is that there is no point in buying a machine like an M3 if you're not looking to explore it's abilities. The only place to do this (without getting arrested) is on a track.
Once you visit the M3's natural environment..... there is no coming back.

You'll be trawling the forum for upgrade tips and bargain buys.

It's a slippery slope once you start.
