Check out these Yoko's on a 10" LM rim. They seem to fit about right and look to be able to take a little more tire in back.

Good point, but...

It's not clear when or if Dunlop will ever produce the Direzza Sport tires in the most popular 19" or 20" tire sizes for our cars.

The biggest tire size they make is an 18".

Good point - the test size was a 17". I hadn't researched them yet.
2nd & 3rd places were the Hancook Ventus V12 Evo & Kumho Ecsta XS, respectively. Michelins were in the upper end, but best only in wet autocross & skidpad.

Surprisingly,

The PS2 didn't do all that well against the other tires in the individual tests.

Given their lofty reputation, you would think the performance would be better. Their measurable results were more or less mediocre. (mid-pack on most tests)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Michelin come out with a new high performance tire in the next year or so to re-assert their dominance.

The results of the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires probably surprised me the most. Didn't really see that coming...

It ranked #1 in wet braking.

Just found out the damn Hankook Ventus V12 Evo is already discontinued.

And to make matters even worse...the replacement model doesn't come in 19" or 20" tire sizes either.

I asked about experience with these tires in another thread, but got no responses. I guess it's nobody here has run them before.

The Vreds are (and have been) generating alot of business with Mopar SRT8 owners as well. I believe the Ultracs have a thicker side wall as I heard they were originally designed for the sportier SUV market (heavier vehicles)... I have them on a 600 HP SRT8 Charger with KW coilovers, and I have ZERO complaints about them whether going straight or on the twisties... only praise.

I think both these guys are waiting to put the Vreds on the RAC wheels.

I'd also like to see some additional reviews specific to the M3 and comparing to the PS2.

Yep, got some used PS2s for the rear to tide me over. I'll go with the 255/275 setup when the RACs come. Krueger who posts on the Northwest forum occasionally has them on his coupe and likes them.
