I really love this thing. I'm hoping I'll be able to find my way behind the wheel of one for a test drive once they start showing up.

Dem seats.

It's success is going to be strongly tied to it's price point (imo).

I will replace my STi with this in a couple years if MB can keep the weight under 3,400 lbs.

It'd be awesome if this came in a manual, but you can't really argue with a 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo that produces 355 HP and THOSE SEATS!!

I would do the same if they would bring over the A45 instead of or in addition to the CLA.

I really like this car too...if it's in the same price range as a 335i sedan then I will definitely consider this car with its performance and luxury.

I agree. I'm not a fan of the dark/polished lip.

I'm thinking something like:

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of the front end. May change my mind when I see it in person.

The car is ugly IMO. Audi S3 Sedan is incomparably better. And the RS3 Sedan with 2.5 TFSI I5 making close to 400 PS will be out of this world.

So what's BMW's answer going to be to this and the RS3?
Hope it has a manual. I'm also hoping competition from Audi and Merc will influence the price this time around.
I guess the good news is BMW has time on their side since the M2 is a what, a few years away from hitting showroom floors?
