Mobile detailer in bay area?
What's a good mobile detailer in the bay area. I think d00t used to do it but haven't seen him post an awhile. Need someone that is legit and does a great job, will pay extra for it.
Thanks!

I recommend AJ's in San Jose. They aren't mobile but they offer a free rental (Ford Taurus) while you wait for your car.

That's the prob w/ all these detailers. They pop up and disappear. I don't recommend using AJ's tho. Bad attitude when they messed up my car. Post up info later if you find someone good. thx

Dunno about mobile detailers, but I'm taking my car to California Detailing next week for the first time. I can let you know how they are if you want.

duk,
Have you tried PM'ing d00t? He doesn't own a M3, so its doubtful that he is on the forum that often. I was happy with the results on my car when he did it. I have also heard that Bob at Auto Concierge does a great job. Mike |

Bob is really the best of the bay, but does cost a shitload of money. He's been in the biz for a long time.

I've been taking my car to detail addict for the past year now for my e90 and I definitely can vouch for their work. I recently just took my e92 m3 there for a detail. Prices are very reasonable compared to other places. You can pm Nick@detailaddict and ask him for more info!
Cheers!

Stay way clear of McFadden's Mobile Detailing (Palo Alto)
I previously used Anthony McFadden (he was living in East Palo Alto) for 4 years...late 90's
He did a good job (mostly) and I brought him into a couple start-ups and used him to provide clean car perks for my employees. Long story short: I "sold" him a yellow Ducati 900ss and I made the mistake of taking a personal check (knew him for 4 years) ... he bounced it and skipped town, with my bike! Stupid move (I know), but he vanished before I could serve him with a lawsuit. Stay clear of McFadden!

I've used Auto Image for years. Ask for Fernando (aka Junior), he's the owner and very hands on with his business. Honest and professional.

Hey everyone,
Mike was right. I'm not on any car forums much these days. I've been swamped with detailing and school as well, but I am definitely still out there detailing cars every weekend! |
