Any way to look up what software version car has

I had my Wife take our M3 in for service yesterday. It's a 2009 M3 with DCT. I asked them to update the software for the DCT update. I also asked them to fix the IPOD hookup as it was behaving strangely. I reviewed the receipt and it said they did an update to fix iPod issue, but also said transmission had no issues and had up to date software.

Now I'm confused. The iDrive screen seems different. And the iPod interface has changed. I haven't driven it yet so havent felt if the DCT has changed at all. I'm wondering if they can update the Nav and iPod with updating the tranny. Perhaps they did the entire update to fix the iPod issue and that's why they said the DCT was now up to date. I'm wondering if I can somehow find out what software I now have. I will likely call on Monday, but would like to know as much as I can before I call

You can look it up on the I-drive. I don't remember off hand where, but the owners manual should say how.

I'll have to look again. I looked quite awhile and couldn't find it anywhere. I'll try again. Also the dealership didn't reset the oil countdown. Can that be reset without a computer hookup?

I checked the secret menu. I found a screen that was 1.0x. It said SW then the next line it has B3.41.E0 It looked like

01.06
SW
B3.41.E0

I'm assuming this means I have SW 3.41.0. Is this the latest?

search on DCT service bulletins, I think that will provide info that you can directly ask about, also it will tell you if your car was affected with this recall.

The recall was cars pre 2.38.1 so I'm definitely past that. I was just curious if I had the latest version

Now I'm not sure if I have the right screen or not. Previous posts I'd seen talk about software versions 2.39 and above. My 1.06 screen show B3.41.E0. Can anyone tell me if this is the software version and if it's current?
