Even if you can't do that, take it for a spirited back road drive. Last weekend I went out at 5 am and was out for almost 6 hours on some epic empty roads. Fell in love all over again. The simple fact is that when I drive my M3, it truly leaves me wanting for nothing. It is then that I realize that the change will be simply for the sake of change. When one does this, at times, one may actually be less satisfied with the end result. Then, of course, people find some way to try and rationalize their decision, but they know, deep down, that they should have stayed with what they had.

Also, for me, I will never buy a car in its first year of production, so even if I look at possible new M3 replacements, I am looking at MY '16 for many cars.

You can do something little just to tweak the car. Last month I added some Lux angel eyes. I find that I usually keep modding until about 9-12 months before selling, but it's usually little things.

Finally, commit yourself to a time frame for ownership. I have committed to at least 6 years for every car I buy new.

Dude, Mid-Ohio sports car course is one of the best tracks in the country! Find a way to plan a trip, it's worth the drive.

EDIT: I see about 10 people have already said the same thing. Let me know when you go, I'll drive up too!

It's very different, M3 V8 is more linear. Flat 6 sounds completely different. Overall a very different experience. Loving it so far. Also, handling is sublime!

Never gave any updates on here. I ended up buying a low mileage E55 AMG and I've been enjoying it.

C63 is a wonderful car. If you never plan on doing trackdays it would be a good alternative to an M3. It would be fun to take to the track once just to hoon.

Did you keep the M3 also? How are you liking it versus the M3? Isn't it slower Nurburgring and approximately the same speed as the M3 quarter mile etc...??
I mean it looks cool and all, but performance wise no better and the M3 looks.... umm better.
You'll be back...
