Eisenmann Exhausts

Hey locals,

I am just about ready to buy an exhaust and leaning towards the Eisenmann systems. Right now I'm stuck deciding on the Sport or Race. Is there anyone in the tri state area (mainly NJ, if possible) who has one that would be interested in meeting up please? I really want to hear what they sound like in person because this "drone" I hear about have given me mixed reviews; some say it's annoying, while others say it's not bad at all.

Thanks guys!

I got sport and there is almost no drone at all. I'm all the way out of east end of LI though. Not sure if you come out this far ever.

I just had the Eisenmann race istalled yesterday. WOO HOO! There is drone in mine. It happens in about the same place as the stock one did, maybe a little higher in the rev range. It's louder of course, but not a big deal. That being said, I hear these exhausts need a few hundred miles on them before they break in. So I guess it's hard to say just what it will sound like yet.

The exhaust sounds amazing, completely wild. I happen to LOVE IT!

haha gemini, that's exactly why I am ready to get an exhaust as well. The nice driving weather is coming about and it's time to mod!

Thanks for the info. Did you buy the connecting pipes too or just have them cut?

Also, would you have anytime to meet one day? I am so curious as to what the race version sounds like in person! I am from North Jersey as well, are you near the Garden State Mall?

Thanks for the feedback. How does the sport sound at WOT?

It sounds great. I deleted my secondary cats also and that made it even better. It's definitely louder than stock at WOT but not obnoxiously loud at all. It's far more aggressive sounding. I love it, I drive with the windows down and music low all the time just to listen to it.

It really depends how loud you want. I wanted the best of both worlds, an aggressive sounding exhaust without sounding to loud all the time so this fits it perfect. But if you love making noise with your car all the time I'd go for race version.

+1 The race is LOUD! Like uncorked sport bike loud, which is just what I was looking for. But don't think it sounds like rice, because it sounds amazing. When I went to my local starbucks yesterday, a p-car guy commented on how good it sounded; he even said he was looking around for the ferrari when he heard me coming.

I got it with the connecting pipes, and had the Rogue guys put it on for me. I'll be posting new pics later this week. I'm waiting for a few more things

e92 M3 - Garden state mall isn't to far for me. When do you wanna hear it?

My Eisenmann Sport arrives in a few days. I am in Cherry Hill. Right off of Exit 4. Anyone who wants to listen, PM me. I also have the full Fabspeed high flow cat/xpipe setup.

Jersey Girl... im always at the starbucks in Chester so I'm wondering if you ever heard the old dude with heavily modded M5...his exhaust is sick...im thinking its a miesterschaft or remus.

I'm also wondering why you wouldn't opt for the Roque Diablo sport exhaust..it sounds much better then the eisennmann sport and race. Ironic , since you got an eisenmann installed by the guys from Roque.

She probably wanted an exhaust now...so she opted for a unit that's available. Rogue hasn't released theirs yet. I'm anxiously awaiting the release, but may not have the patience either.

Rogue Engineering is listed as one of the authorized dealers for Eisenmann (authorized by IND North America) so I am assuming they have quite some experience with Eisenmann systems.

I have the same setup installed 2 days ago. It drones at 2k rpm then quiet down at 2.5k rpm and then drones a lil again at 3k no matter what gears you are in. It's music to the ears!

I was told that it will quiet down after 500 to 1000 miles or so.

The Roque Diablo Sport sounds intoxic...

This video was made 10 months ago, are you sure it's not available yet?

Although, the nicest exhaust I've heard is Dave's...who was at the GSP Meet in the Sparkling Graphite M3. His is a full ASR exhuast and its the best sound you'll here from a bimmer ever.

he's M3kid on this forum.

How loud is the Eisenmann race compared to the sport muffler???? I would like to hear both of them side by side.

Yup! That's it! The Rogue exhaust is a few months off still. I don't want to speak to much for Ben and the guys, but from what i understand they weren't happy with the one they used in the videos. I guess making a free flowing exhaust that doesn't drone your head to mush is harder then it seems.

P.S. I have a bit over 200 miles on my new loud pipes and the drone IS starting to fade away.

P.P.S JO8M3 - The SSK is super I think you'll be happy.
