Wow that's a nice pic! That's what I mean when I say the C has a nice rear up close:

From a distance it looks lazy though!

If I could get the C63 with the color inside of BMW's terra leather, I would
order it tomorrow.

I really like the M3 but I haven't lost touch with reality - the C63 is a notch
above it in my opinion and I'm ok with that and at peace with myself even if
I decide at the end to get the M3.

It depends on so many factors. Have you driven both? The C63 doesn't have the feel of the M3, but it does have the power, and in a very usable slushbox with lots of usable torque.

If you get the C63 and are unhappy, will you still be able to get the M3 (financially-speaking)?

If you hate the look of the C, you really shouldn't get the C63. I can't imagine walking up to a $65K purchase and hating to look at it. I think the C63 looks very aggressive and attractive, although not quite as beautiful as the M3.

If I wanted a coupe, and a manual, hands down, it would be the M3. But I want a sedan, and an "auto" ... in that case, the C63 is a strong competitor. Do you value absolute power or finesse?

Stick with the M3 until you drive both.

I am down for one as well, due to arrive in 1-2 weeks.

I'm not 100% on it, I need a little more time in an M3 to be sure before I buy. But it seems the C63 fits my needs better. So, I'm not changing my sig until the deal is done. I tend to change my mind without warning.

What color will you get?

Seen my first C63 yesterday, it was dark grey metallic and I have to say that on pure looks it is a million miles meaner looking than the M3 saloon. In fact I was so impressed by it's looks that I have chosen to book myself a test drive in the thing.

It's currently the best looking sports saloon on the market.

2 weeks? Nice man!!

I'm going to head in to the dealer and drive it again this week just to be sure.

Iridium Silver Metallic is what I'm going with on the color. How about you?

Steel Grey/Black interior It's a darker grey -- looks realllly good in person IMO.

I was "lucky" (if buying an AMG is lucky, hehe ) that my favorite color was heading into a local dealer with no buyer assigned to it.

Post your driving impressions ybbiz and footie too.

I think as long as you set your expectations to "refined German muscle car" you won't be disappointed.

I saw Steel Gray/Black right outside my building on Monday AM. Spent about 15 minutes studying it very closely. It looks very mean...but then again all the colors do on this car. Personally, I am in a light color phase at the moment, hence my reason for ordering either Palladium Silver or White. Definitely report back when you get it!

I was wondering that myself. The M3 I had on order was something like $73K whereas my totally loaded C63 is about $65K. The only items that I can think of that are missing are Ski Sack, EDC, Parktronic, M-DCT, and Comfort Access (not exactly the most important one of the bunch).

Euro Seats (and a few others) should be US options.

you forgot the up and coming Performance Package may dear friend for another 3900, which brings your MSRP to about 38,900 or some change.

you wouldnt want to race an M3 with your c63 around the bends unless you want to kill yourself

What the hell are you talking about?

Ummm...How old are you? I would not buy either car for the purpose of racing someone "around the bends". Grow up kid!

BTW...Aren't you driving a 330i?
