2010+ 6MT Underdrive Pulley Pic Request
Can anyone verify what the pulleys look like for 2010 and up 6MT? I know there was a change in 2010, so I wanna do some verification. Installed pics would be nice as well.
Thanks, Matt |

SOP-5/08 6MT only 6/08+ 6MT & all DCT Belt routing: 2008-5/08 6SPD models (non DCT) belt routing 6/08+ and all DCT belt routing Crank pulley is the same for both variations. Power steering pulley, belt routing and length is slightly different in 6/08+ 6MT and DCT.

When I looked at my power steering pulley, it sppears that besides the 3 bolt holes there is a pin that goes through a 4th hole which I don't see on the second pic you posted.

The configuration hasn't changed since mid 08. 5/08+ M3s now use the same configuration, DCT or 6MT.

It is harder to see in the pic. Correct, mine is a 2012 as I mentioned when I saw you. Mine has a silver pin which led me to believe it was something different than the ones in the pics which appear to be black as far as I can tell. If you say that they are the same though, I will go with it. Can you verify the part numbers on the MS pulleys so I can tell if I have the correct ones?

So I checked what I have and it indeed has the same part number as mentioned above. Is there supposed to be the alignment pin on the MS one? If so, it is not there.

It's not utilized during installation, the pulley is installed without it.

I was just looking at the aftermarket pulleys on some vendors websites and it looks like the Active Autowerke pulley kit comes with just 1 pulley(crank pulley) while the Macht Schnell pulley comes with 2 pulleys(crank, and power steering pulley)? Is that correct? Wonder why they one has the ps and the other doesn't?

Print the pic and trace the belts with a red marker. That worked for me.

Might have a situation. In the middle of this and I only got one belt with my kit. Am I in trouble or am I supposed to reuse one of the stock belts???
