Nice runs guys...
one question though if I may: Nobody noticed that this Ess 535 M3 at this run for whatever reason takes about 14-15 secs (much slower than a stock car) to complete 60-130mph???? Is it all in my head???

15sec 60-130 mph for a supercharged M3 is pretty far from the best I would imagine...

Damn that 335i single turbo is fast as hell. Didnt think those ~2.98 liter engines can hold 20lbs of boost safely. Pretty impressive. I wonder what our M3 engines can do with a turbo.

Heat soak was a problem for everybody, plus it was ~ 1,700 ft elevation. It was about 75-80 degress but more importantly, the black taramac was very hot (not a cloud in the sky) and the staging area was long. My meth boiled over in two runs and so didn't flow at all. Even when my meth was flowing, IAT's were still over 50c. I didn't log my run with the VT1 535 M3 (ended in a tie) but my previous run that I logged, timing (ignition correction) was reduced a lot as a result of the heat soak.

So yes, the results will be a lot worse than an evening run at sea level.

I can't believe how hard those pesky FBO tuned 135i's are to beat in a straight line.

Explode? jk
The S65 isn't really suited for more high boost. Then again, it doesn't need much boost to make good power.

Yah no kidding, need to keep him in DCT cars

All the cars did great. I was hoping there would have been some supercharged M3's to run but I guess none could make it. The modded 335's did very well and Shiv's single turbo was kicking butt all day. All in all the event was a lot of fun and I think all the BMW's did well.
