No new M3 at NY Auto Show?
That's what I've heard, but I want to see if it's true.
If it is, then

BMW seemed as if they didn't care to impress this year. You could have went to the dealer for a better experience.(dealer is less crowded)
Its ok there are a lot more cars to drool over. You know LAMBO's Ferrari's and such. |

The NYIAS never has anything good.
No M3, no M coupe, no Nissan GT-R concept (ever), no Veyron (still haven't seen one in person.) OH, and the BMW representative I asked about the 335xi was a dick. |

It is a shame! I was there on Friday in hopes of seeing the car! All they had was their basic cars and a few M's and that was the blk of it!

Because this is the year of the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show, Everything is being saved for Germany , The home show is more important to all German manufacturers than any other show in 2007 .
BMW AG will again be erecting a custom built display outside in the plaza with no more than 6 world debuts. But the M3 will have a preview for the crowd at the German Grand prix. |

Expectation info?
Scott26's comments fit with what we actually know. Lots of people appear disappointed with the New York show but where did anyone get the idea that the M3 was going to be previewed anywhere outside of Geneva and Frankfort? I know being disappointment is a bummer but it might be a good idea to check out your expectations with "members in the know" (probably this leaves me out) before hand.
Still, I hope you had some good times and the show. K. |
