Removing stripped supercharger plug
Well guys, I went to check the oil and noticed the dipstick/filler is completely stripped. Like round round. I tried using a screw extractor, (high end one) and it hit, but the dipstick is on so tight it just shaved the brass even more. I tried cutting a slot and using a flathead.. same thing.. it's on so tight it just tore and didn't budge at all. What are my options at this point? I'm worried if I damage the plug too much it'll be impossible to remove.

What about turning that into the breather by drilling a small hole and filling the oil through the original breather and turning that into a dipstick? Might need to Source a longer dipstick or not have one at all. I mean let's be honest, if you're changing the oil every 5k on the sc how often does one really check it?

Yeah that's what I would do, I would also suck the oil out of the drain line and/or blow it out and measure it each time just to confirm it's completely empty when I fill it. Address it if the head unit ever comes off for service or to return to stock.

Heat it with a small torch and try the extractor again.

It looks like you have room to go up in sizes with the extractor so you could keep trying that. Heat could help, possibly cut relief cuts but be careful not to hit the threads on housing.

Yeah it could definitely use a bigger size. I honestly think I may just let my mechanic get it out. I need a couple of things done so I can just leave my mess with him and pretend it's not my fault hahah

You may either want to leave that alone or take it to someone a bit more skilled, brass is soft and if you hit those threads you'll have to tap them and go up a size

Brass is soft like @amrazm stated and can be easily drilled out by someone who has some experience or someone decently handy. I would recommend doing this or taking it to someone you trust to do it. I actually had to do this yesterday to my own shower lol.

I smashed mine with a throw away flat head and a hammer until I could rotate the screw counter-clockwise (Left). It worked. I called Vortech and they sent me a new dip stick.

I had the exact thing happen, and it looked just like yours after making it worse.
What I did was carefully remove the other brass screw that doesn’t have the dipstick, measured how much fluid came out after draining, then refill the same amount. Even if you overfill it should expel any excess. Having said that I ended up buying some very long torx drivers that attach to a socket wrench, and beat it in with a hammer, and it worked. I’ve tried this with allen heads and flat screw driver to no avail. I think part of the trick is having the length and smaller shaft because it’s hard to drive it straight in otherwise, as it wants to go on a bit of an angle. I plan to buy a new dipstick for the next oil change assuming I can get it out again, but worst case using the other port will work
