I pulled up beside an E46 "M3" today at a traffic light, thought it looked a little plain jane. finally realized what it really was, a base 325ci with skinny tires, shitty rims, no aero work, no gills, no nothing....except a proud "M3" badge on the right rear trunk lid. And I wondered WHY? until I pulled up beside and saw the Guido driving it and then I knew...

I laughed to myself, but seriously, WHY do people do that shit??! There was really nothing wrong with his beemer--not dissing that, but to blatanly re-badge it like that was...

. I was kinda embarrassed for him.

Well I saw a white 335i sedan the other day with it's badge replaced with M3. The car looked brand new. This guy didn't waste any time. It was funny because I saw him drive around the parking lot and pull up next to my car for a minute or so. Maybe he was taking measurements for future M3ish mods.....

I absolutely despise guidos. I go to college in Arizona and once Jersey Shore hit the scene, everyone called me a guido because im from New Jersey, i have dark hair, and im very tan. Im German people, I just spend alot of time outside. The white beemer doesnt work in my defense either.

If I didn't have a M3 I would definitely put a M3 badge on it cause I think it's hilarious that it actually bothers some people haha... It would probably only take minutes of driving before it ended up on a forum somewhere driving people nuts....

I guess it bothers me because I didn't buy an M3 for some kind of status thing. I bought it because of the awesome performance. Period. And I don't need the badging at all. I'd take it off.
