Finally my GTS5 bumper is here. BUT shipping company damaged the Paint!

Update!

After waiting for about a month, I did not heard any response from shipping company. Rich from GTB(my vendor)decided they will took care me, we contact the IND and let them did the fix. All the repair cost is taken care by GTB. I got the bumper installed by IND yesterday, the result is perfect, looks never been damaged.
I would like to thank Rich from GTB and Andrew from IND. Very good customer service from Rich

After waited about two month, I got my bumper today. When I open the box, I saw this...

the damage is on the right side head light area. Overall its a beautiful piece. IGNORE the pink sofa

Damn, hope it works out. Insurance should pay you out and you still get to keep the damaged part. That damage looks like it could be fixed/mended and painted over.

That looks like it will buff right out.

J/K. Hope everything goes smooth with your insurance claim. You might be able to sell the damage bumper if they let you keep it. Best of luck.

It's not the fault from the shipping company, it's the actual molding, bad mold. My friend's and mine came like that too but was not that bad thou. Nonetheless, why not try with the insurance company first?

PS~It's just a manuf. defect, this is the 4th bumper I have seen with the same exact area damaged from straight from Vosteiner, the shop that did the paint job should've done a better job on the bumper before painting it.

Keep us posted on what the vendor has to say. Ask for a return shipping label if they request the bumper back. You shouldn't be paying for a return item that came damage. Also if the vendor decide to give you partial payment back, you could take it to repair the bumper. Hope it all works out.

Yep, looks like they lift one side of the box up, then the weight moves down and put too much pressure on the bottom side.

When I ordered mine. I have been told the lead time is about three weeks only. Post your pics when you got it installed! I'm still waiting the response from the shipping company.
