I put a deposit down for my m3 09 sedan, and everytime .I drive my evo 8. I smile and say to myself I LOVE THIS CAR.this sounds dumb but I go to bed every night thinking about my m3 on order.I know I must have my priorities soo far out of wack. Im hoping I made the right choice.

I thought about it as well for the first couple nights, and I loved my E46 M3 but sometimes you just need something new in your life or something to keep you excited or something to look forward to.

Can you keep your Evo? Because there's nothing else like it.
You will miss the manual trans as well. BTW I say that when I drive my Evo as well. Especially right after throttling it all the way around a corner without losing grip. The Evo is just insane.

I loved LOVED my E36 M3 and I kept wondering if I really needed the new M3. My E36 feels old and jittery now that I have been driving the new M. I still love it but I am glad I bought the new one!

I will make my mind up after I drive the E92 M3 with M-DCT at Mont Tremblant (BMW course). Maybe that will make it easier getting rid of my Z4M Coupe.. |

if ANYTHING the evo is way more a driver's car than the M. The M does everything for you, like keep your drink cold I really miss my evo ix and regret selling it. Searching right now to buy another. I love my M3 though, alot. But regardless, the evo is a raw performance car, the M is simply a performance car that gets more pussy.

because Evo is AWDriveitself.... though they are more raw then a M3..... In a corner.. you drive the M through the corner.. The Evo drives its self through the corner.. and you kinda move the wheel around to go from a lil bit of understeer and more understeer.... and because to me.. a M is alot more fun to drive.... |

and because most Tuners will choose the Evo... because the options are endless.....
It is half the price... so obviously it wont have the lux items that the M has... but as u see with the Evo X... they are moving in that direction.... |

Apparently you haven't driven one (I don't mean just a test drive). And apparently you don't know what a well balanced car can be and should be.

A buddy of mine just bought a brand new STI and we drove each other's cars, he was impressed with my M3 and how refined the interier quality and drive is, power and all. I drove his and it's quick, light on the wheel, but huge difference in the craftmanship, performance, quality, luxury, etc. I know Evo's are bad ass but man, wait until you drive that M3. It's like getting rid of a hot pain-in-the-ass wife and getting a super model

To the OP: the Evo is great too. I wouldn't get rid of it unless I were going to the next level, and that leaves out most cars. But the M3 is a true step up, so don't lament over it. You'll enjoy it.

thats the most ridiculous thing ive read today.... it has everything to do with it... with a well balanced car... You.. the driver make it do what you want it to.... you drive a corvette.. talking about a evo on track.. and saying balance doesnt mean anything... your a cluster.... |
