Thanks pb
I had the work performed by a shop here in Virginia Beach, Racewerks www.racewerks.net The car started out as a 2011 "no option" M3. The car has the double adjustable Motons. I have only run it at a facility in NC called NCCAR (North Carolina Center for Automotive Research) (www.nccar.us) but am heading to VIR today for an event with Wilderness Trails (PCA). Most of my track time is at VIR but I am planning a trip south this fall/winter and hope to hit Sebring and Moroso in WPB. I am looking for some ideas for graphics so if you have any ideas they are welcome. Might do a variation on the M stripes. |

That paint's going to get absolutely demolished after a track day. Why not just order a ZCP car with regular paint?

Hat's off to you and RaceWerks. Great to see the E92's on track! I wish they were closer to Florida... I would like to meet up with you at Sebring or Moroso if possible - Please keep us updated. |

Track
The E92 is street legal. I was thinking it would be dual purpose but not too sure now. I just came back from 1 day at VIR and my expectations were exceeded. I hope to get a bit smoother this weekend as I am doing another event at VIR with PCA. It has the manual. I had the DCT in an 08 and it was fine but it started making strange noises and "thumping" plus I missed the old school 6 spd so that is what I went with and no regrets! Probably make a FL track trip in early December and will keep you posted. BTW, the shop in Va Beach, Racewerks, is worth the trip if you have some mods you want done. They are experts with BMWs plus you could combine it with a track event at VIR which is a great way to spend a day or 3!
Thanks for the input pb. |
