haha the model itself is over $100, and this guy in Germany does all the work himself. I think its at least $300 or $400 bucks. you can ship him the M3 model and have him do the work OR you can pay him for the model + his work. Works out to be the same price, so might as well let him go buy the model itself.

awesome toy though!

The model is made by Kyosho. The lights are "aftermarket". I dunno who makes em.

Someone needs to make an E93 one with a top that really retracts. I'd buy it.

they do make the E93,
you would have to contact the guy who does the aftermarket stuff. maybe he can do it?

That's incredible. He even made the headlights adaptive . The interior dash illumination must have required the skill of a neuro-suegeon. A nice conversation piece for your office . I bet he could sell it to BMW's CEO for a few grand.

Yeah, maybe he could. But I bet it would be pricey. To do it right, I think it would need sensors to be able to stop the motor. Plus it would really be best to have it remotely operable because you don't want to have to lift or tilt the car while the top is operating.
