Are there any ways to remove the amber reflectors completely? I know it's painted now, but I would really love to see it completely gone. I am sure there's body work involved for such work, but I think it will be well worthed it.

This is possible and the shop has done this on many E46's. The job runs about $600 as the bumper needs to be removed and completely painted after the reflectors are shaved. If the shop wasn't so busy lately we would have done that as well.
