Stock sound system vs...
I have a 2008 335 which came standard with logic 7. I\'m more than happy with the system.
I\'m considering getting into a e90 m3 at some point and was wondering how the m3 sound system compares. How does the logic 7 in the 335 compare to the stock m3 system? How does it compare to the m3 enhanced premium sound? Thanks. |

Probably little help but I can tell you that the e9X standard sound system sounds a lot better than the e46 enhanced Harmon Kardon. I have the standard stereo in my e92 and it sounds really nice...prefer to listen to the engine/exhaust tho. Talkin M3's of course.

even the premium sound system sounds eh to me. I may be a bit on the biased side having had aftermarket speakers and subs in all my prior cars though. if its any indication though, im unimpressed with the stereo and i have premium.

i was under the impression that the standard M3 system was the upgraded system in a regular 3 series so if you like that the EPS is just an added bonus

I'm with you. Had the upgrade in my 135i so went for it in the M3. In the grand scheme of things its drop in the ocean of the cars price so why compromise.

I had Logic 7 in my 335xi. Now in my M3 I have the Enhanced Premium Sound system. In my opinion, the EPS system is much better than the Logic 7 system...especially the mids and highs. Very crisp. I am not a sound enthusiast or anything, but I do enjoy my music. I am very happy with the EPS system.

I've been very happy with my tunes, but not ecstatic just because of the base.

I had the logic 7 in my 335i and have the basic system in my M3. My M3 sounds like total crap compared to the 335i.

It really blows you have to get nav to get the enhanced sound package. I had to keep my car lightly optioned and gladly would pay for the premium audio alone but now with nav you are looking at $4k. I'm in the minority that love my little ugly garmin when I need it those 3X a year.
