DCT Reset

This may sound crazy but is there anyway to reset my E92 M3 DCT tranny? Lately (not always) when I start from a dead stop the car really slams into gear (sort of like the old SMG in the E60 M5).

I really don't want to have to go to the dealer but if I have to it's still covered under warranty.

Thanks!

You might want to look into a DCT tune from one of the forum vendors. Would not only 'reset' it, but also improve it on every setting.

I don't think there is a way to reset it like the e46. Maybe via inpa cable but not sure. I wouldn't mess with it anyways you don't want to give them a reason not to cover it under warranty if you end up needing a new transmission.

Its been said that it's the same as the E46 M3 SMG rest. I don't have any proof of it though:

Go over 40mph
release throttle
put in "N"
pull back on both paddles for 15 sec
put back in gear and drive as the system adapts

Do you know what software version you are running? Is there anyway for me to check what version I have?

Is there any consensus on if this does, in fact, work on DCT cars? Thanks!
