So as an update, I got thrown a real curve ball today. I went to the BMW of Fairfax body shop to get a quote on respraying the bumper and hood. They were my last quote as I expected the worst. They shockingly were the cheapest of anywhere. I asked a bunch of questions and it comes with a lifetime guarantee and it's also done at a BMW dealership. Unless anyone has had a bad experience there? Looks like I found my shop to do the work. I'm surprised it was hundreds of dollars less than D&V quoted me for the same work.

They just make a mess and get washer fluid all over the place

I had a few coding things done a while back and one the things was having the whole headlight washer system disabled.

I'm guessing it looked a lot more aggressive. The threads have all said there were no rubbing issues with that set up on the ZCPs, that your experience?

I had no issues at all and it looks perfect like that.

That is pretty surprising. How much did it end up costing you, if you don't mind me asking? There's an M3 that I'm interested in but it'd need a respray for the bumpers too.

Yes, I use them for all our BMW repaint work. I must've taken different E90s in there for bumper re-sprays 8 times in the last few years. Had them do some sheet metal work and respray on one X3 too. They always do a fine job and get it back to you quickly.

As an update, I just got my car back from repaint at the BMW of Fairfax body shop. I had them do the front bumper (they cleaned up the front plate holes too), hood, and mirror caps. Looks like new and came in under estimate. Considering they were the cheapest quote I found in the area and it's done in a BMW shop, I have zero complaints. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking to get any paint work done.

you'll love the wrap and tint.....definitely a good investment.

what exhaust did you get? I hope you took my advice of listening to them in person (unlike what I did).

I actually picked up a Magnaflow from the forums here. I never got a chance to hear it in person but from everything i can tell it's a deeper note than some of the others. It didn't break the bank so worst case scenario I can always swap it back to OEM and try again. We'll have to meet up again once all the work is done. Do you do any of the meet ups?
