Endless Pads-Anybody use them?

Anybody here use them? If so, please share your thoughts. Also..do you know of any vendors who sell them specific for the E9Xs?

PFC01 and PFC06 are popular pads for the track, figured I'd also explore Endless Pads. Also curious if the Endless Pads fit our stock calipers?

wwjd15 (vendor) uses them, and also sells them. He can create a custom set up for you if you tell him how you want your brakes to work

Several other people I know use them... Blue E92, JZB E90, Matte Gray E92, AW E90....
Didn't know if they wanted to be mentioned or not so I'll let them chime in if they want...

You should also consider Pagid Yellows if you're interested in paying 'Endless' prices.

I run Pagid RS29's and they are perfect.

I'm running Endless MX72 on my stock caliper. I was looking for something to use at the track but didn't want to change the break pads for the street. They were squealing at first but after a full day at the track, I don't hear them anymore. So far, I'm very happy with them.

Let me know what kind of Endless pads you are looking at. I can help you out with the compound selection. We are one of the biggest Endless dealers in the US.

I run the ME20's and they are great. Might be a bit noisy for daily driving but for the track they have been really good.

I've been running Pagid RS-19s for the past 3 years. I think they are excellent pads and have served me well. On some tracks you will definitely eat up more pad than others (Barber for one, CMP another), but I've never had fade, ever, and I've gotten them plenty hot. I think there are lots of other suitable alternatives, so it's not like these are the only choices.

I just received my first set of Endless Pads from Ricky (posted above). I've not tried them yet but what I like already is like the Pagids they have the stock retaining springs. Many of the other pads don't bother, and I'm sure it doesn't affect braking performance but I really don't want my pads rattling around in my caliper when my foot's off the brake.

I have been hearing great things regarding the ME20 compound for both daily and track use.

Some people have mentioned they are a bit noisy, while many advertise them not to be for street use.

Not to stray away from the OP's intention of this thread. But could you guys elaborate on the squeal and it's severity? Is anyone using some of that anti-squeal lube?

Had ME20 put on last week and tracked Big Willow this past Saturday. Love it! And, to me, not noisy at all on the streets.

I run the same: MX72's. I love the progressive feel of the pads, and they are very street friendly. No noise whatsoever. The only two cons con I've had with it is that when the pad is absolutely frosty cold (if the car has been sitting for a week like mine always is), stopping power seems to be reduced by a noticeable amount, and it seems pretty dusty. The pad heats up quickly though, braking just once will get it operating normally, yet the pad is resistant to overheating under hard braking at the track. If you like more initial bite I would say head toward OC3's direction, but me and my 370Z friend Walt love the progressive feel of the MX72's.

I ran CC-RG before on the Brembos on a previous car.

They held up well under the track heat, incredible braking torque at any brake temp but squealed like dying pigs on the street. I've had a better experience with Project Mu pads for hybrid street/track use.

Here's a review done by Option Magazine. They were developed for WRC and Touring car racing.

^^ CC-RG's shouldn't be very noise. But at one time, one of our M3 customers bought the CC-RG's from a local shop, the noise level is pretty much like Pagid RS19/29's, so he was not happy. So we took his pads out and found out that they were not even close to CC-RG's.

I ran two sets of these. The first set's noise was okay on a old set of rotors. But the 2nd set with new rotors was terrible. I think might have to do with rotor and pad compound incompatibility or that the CC-RG had trouble operating at low temperatures. It literally sounded like metal on metal grinding at every stop. People would look at you weird and cover their ears outside. Whatever it was, it was too noisy for me. I got Project Mu HC+ pads. Those have the same high temp and bite but much more civil on the street.

Everything I've heard about Endless Pads suggest that they a BBK would be a pre-requisite before installing the pads. Considering I'm using my stock brakes-would these work?

Why do you say this? I read that you can use Pagids and Endless on stock brakes and racing fluid without fear of fading in a standard HPDE track session. Both companies provide the correct shape for stock calipers.

I suppose I've been talking to the wrong people then.
