BMW Toronto - Service

Just had my first experience with BMW Toronto service last week, and boy what a disappointment. my car has been serviced at Endras since birth, but I decided to go to Toronto to get a clicking noise checked out (it's closer to work and I didn't have time to make the trek to ajax). Won't get into the details, but apart from not being able to diagnose the clicking noise (fine whatever), they didn't top me up - I asked on 5 separate occasions for a top up as i'm running at quarter level right now and they assured me each time that they always check fluids. It's been 5 days since i got the car back and my needle has not moved..... brutal.

so i called them to let them know that i didn't have a good experience there and they actually didn't seem to give 2 shts. i suspect it's because i didn't buy the car there or go there regularly, but come on BMW. i expected a bit more for a high end vehicle... sigh.....

As far as I know, top up is just a courtesy service and there is no obligation for them to do it. Sorry about your experience though

I actually needed an oil top up when I was in Waterloo and when I went into the BMW dealership in Kitchener they happily topped up my oil with 1L of the M oil without charging me anything. I was very pleasantly surprised by that service. (keep in mind, I bought the car from Town&Country....and T&C wanted to charge me for a top up once when I drove by and noted that my oil meter was halfway to low

I find it is really a luck thing on what kind of service you get from these dealerships

bmw toronto service quality level has been dropping for the last few years, I no longer go there myself (partly due to distance).

If you are willing to pay, just goto the parts counter and buy a liter of oil and do it yourself. It takes a full litre when the indicator is at the low line. 3/4 at the 1/4 line, and 1/2 at the 1/2 line, get the pattern?

Otherwise you pretty much have to go there and put up with their shit and pretty much beg if you want it for free.

yeah for sure!..., that's what i've been doing.. but i ran out of my stash and just thought that since the car was in the shop that they could just throw a quart in there and charge me for it. meh. i'm going to drop by T&C and buy some tonight...

Took my car to BMW Toronto once, horrible experience.
Would never go back, Parkview is just as worse now too. Same owners.

It's sad to see how tough it is to find a reputable BMW dealership in the GTA now-a-days. Autohaus and Mississauga is where most of my horrible experience have came from... Autohaus I hope no body ever buys a car from them again, they really treated me like shit I reccomend not going there for anything. Now that I went to Budds I will never go back anywhere else... Budds Bmw for the win, top knotch service and young mechanics who love what they do.

We have serviced all 4 of the recent BMW's that we have had at Parkview with good results. However they have gotten a lot busier in the 10 years that we have used them and the service is much more impersonal than it used to be.I have also used Autohaus and that was a terrible experience.Endras was nothing but a very good experience.

My family's recent purchase of a new 3 series from Autohaus came with mismatch tires... 3 tires were the correct Continental tires then 1 of the tires was a Dunlop...

I noticed this when I was first washing the car a week later and when I brought it back to Autohaus, Autohaus tried to push the fault on me and said that I changed the tire myself and they have no responsibility to change it for me ...

Only after complaining to the GM for a while until they gave me the proper tire... never going back

I would find that very troublesome. Can't imagine what was going on in the salesman's head.

I had almost each dealer in the GTA area service my car. All mediocre at best.

BMW London, not happy at all. I had an oil change and brake fluid change due based on mileage when I pulled the car out of storage in April. It was less than 15 days out of warranty (on car that is stored winters). After the oil change was done they told me it was out of warranty. They would not bend on performing the work for free under warranty or even discounting it. They wouldn't even make a call to BMW. Basic response was you take care of it, call BMW call your GTA dealer. I took car of it, instead of phoning BMW or calling Parkview, I just stopped dealing with London.

Thumbs up to Budds in Oakville. Friendly service advisors, nice facility, aftermarket support, and they stand behind their work. The Budds family of dealers is quite large. They run a great business.

Purchased 3 BMW's from Maranello, and each and every one it was a horror story.

Kept on going back because of convenience, but never again.

I didn't wind up purchasing my M3 from Budds, but was taken back at how professional their sales team was when I went looking at one they had for sale.

If possible, my next BMW purchase will be from Budds, even though I have to drive 40 minutes to get there.

Yeah I've tried all the Toronto BMW dealers over the years and now only take my car to Endras or Budd's... just seems none of the Toronto dealers care about customer service anymore. My buddy Chris was a mechanic at Budd's but since he is no longer there I don't bother with going anymore, I find the staff at Endras much nicer. Endras has been great, especially John Kim in their service department.
