Best (read: least dust) Brake Pads For Brembo BBK

Brake service is coming up soon and even though my pads are alright...they're dusty as hell!

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a variety of pads...

Thanks!

I recently picked up a BBK, I'm not sure what pads were on it but I only used them to go out for a spin and then took them off. The calipers were covered in dust after a four mile drive.

I put in Hawk HPS 5.0 pads and they seem to be really good dust wise. Maybe a bit better or at least on par with oem. Initial bite is slightly lower than oem when cold but bites noticeably better once warmed up.

I don't track the car so I would definitely buy these again.

I have been running these...for about a year now..

HAWK Yellow Performance Ceramic Street Front Brake Disc Pads HB551Z.748 (fronts)

No more brake squealing around town and the dust levels are so minimal that I couldn't be happier with them. As M43S7RO above stated, yes initial bite is less, but nothing that is going to hinder your safety, it will STOP.

Awesome! I've been looking into Hawks of some type, but to see some real-life experience is great.

Thanks, guys!

What is the intended use? Track or street?

Street. Admittedly, I bought the car with the BBK on it. I don't think I would have bothered doing that upgrade had it not been on there...that being said...they look so good, haha.

I think less dusty pads perform worse than those that get dusty. What's the point of bbk at that point.

Perhaps get your wheels dressed so they wipe clean?
