18 and driving an M3? Your dad was cool with allowing you, basically a rookie driver, to have primary access to this? I'm going to have to assume that the car is registered in his name or else you gotta be paying a mint on insurance!

Kudos to you that you can afford it at your age, but good lord, one moving violation and your/his rates are going through the roof!

Also, I'm sure you've heard how impulsive kids your age can be, so please don't become a statistic.

Impulsiveness in an 18 year old driving a race car usually leads to something bad. If an 18 year old M3 driver showed up at my house to take one of my daughters on a date, I can asure you that she wouldn't leave the house.

But maybe if they drove an M3 you wouldn't have to pay for the wedding.

He asked me when I got Last pulled over. I said I was 16 coming home from my parents restaurant. He goes I don't care how old you are. I want to know why you got pulled over. But whatever. We'll just move on. I agree not all cops are douche. But this one definitely was. My father was in the car an even called the guy an asshole.
Your dad was with you coming home from work? Nice try

No worries nice guy just kidding with you, I'm sure it was a "typo"-that's why there was a wink at the end It's easy to accidentally hit the key that's right next to the key that's right next to the key you meant to hit

So, you got a court date set for the next day after you got the ticket? Wow, this really is a great tale........

I think it's time for someone to create a new Poll Question devoted entirely to That Nice Guy Beck. This could get ugly...

My uncle is a police officer, and bought the ticket in. The ticket is taken care of, and the tints and lights are off. Say whatever you like to say. I'll leave this forum alone now. See ya fellas.

Jeez, rought thread. Let's not forget we were all 18 once and have made mistakes. I would have loved to have an M3 when I was young but I'm not jealous of the OP (well maybe a little). I wish him all the luck. Be careful. Be safe.

Nobody here really knows the situation. Maybe the OP was a jerk, maybe the cop was, maybe both. It doesn't really matter and I think the OP has learned a lesson so there's no need to trash him on the forum. He was venting so give him your word of advice and be done with it.

To the OP,

Welcome to the Internet.

Cheers.
