I'm slowly returning the car back to stock... Although at first I thought I wouldn't 'feel' the difference... but man... I really miss the mid throttle response, and upper rpm power! Those stock cats & resonators... sure do restrict things!

I'm not sure about the CEL lights, my car already had the Powerchip Tune. Although from what i've 'read/seen'... it seems most anything that isn't STOCK for the Cats will throw a CEL at 'some point'... just some go months before getting one!
I'd recommend a Powerchip Tune, or equivalent, to really take advantage of the HFC X-Pipes anyways. Here are some links from the car at the Drags... with the RR Polished X-Pipe... and their Axle Back Mufflers... to give an idea of Sound. I always received compliments on the note! Unfortunately... 305/25/20's... aren't the best for hooking up, as you can see!
Density Altitude was also over 2,200 ft... but I still got a 12.8. The Starter at the track... says he's seen the new M3's come and go... and they all run 13's... out there... so I was bound and determined to get into the 12's! But... the 25 series tires were just worthless on launch... and on any 'quick' shifts... Peace, Dave

Hi, Dave. I'm still try to get some info on some of the x pipes, mainly looking to get the same setup as yours. I have a questions on the powerchip, the powerchip is plug and play & tunes it self or I have to get someone to tune it. And are there different kind of powerchips? If so, which one is the best powerchip. Thanks.
