Best sf bay area maintenance shop?
Hey all,
Going to bring the M3 in for an oil change plus make sure I have all the latest software updates and have them look at my hood which all of the sudden has a slight gap on the passenger side where it doesn't fully close. Any recommendations on a solid shop? Just came off warranty so I figure there is no reason to pay dealer prices if there's a better alternative. I'm living in Berkeley but willing to drive a bit based on recommendations. |

We are happy to help if you want to make the trip out. I personally used Bav Pros years ago for my 2002tii and they are a good shop. They are also a fellow Dinan dealer like us.
Please feel free to PM if you decide you want any performance work done. Our head tech owns and tracks an e92 M3. |

Performance Technic and SonicMS are both great shops.
SonicMS recent hired a new tech specialist who worked at a BMW Dealership and is an authorized installer from Gpower. |

Have you tried adjusting the two rubber/screw tabs on which the hood sits? Minor adjustments can make a big difference in closing that gap, if we're talking about the same issue.

+1 when my car arrived with the shipper, M3 it was shock to see the gap and dealer was on phone line, receiving live pictures when some smart one opened the trunk and saw rubbers and balancing did the trick ooh
