A bit of ferrarish from the front and side, but reminds me of a camaro from the rear.

A lot of details (maybe too much) but the overall effect is good, better than the C6 IMO by a mile. Still not sure about the rear end, will have to see in person how that looks.

If you look at it on video it is really impressive, still pics don't seem to capture it all. Base car will be around ~3,000 lbs and pack 450 ponies. Imagine the new Z-06 or ZR1...

Looks fantastic! although the real tail lights are a little camaro looking. Interior very nice and driver focused. Tempting.....

I wonder though any of you gents out there with vette experience a question. How does a vette "feel" compared to an M3? My concern is they while lighter and very awesome are a bigger car. Will this one be similar..

Congrats Chevy, If they don't try to go over MSRP I may have to consider one as BMW doesnt make a Z4M coupe anymore. Kinda wanting a 2 seater.

Simply gorgeous and my bet is it sets new standards in performance... the Z06/ZR1 will be absolute beasts. Even the base with 450hp and 3000 lbs will be a beast... same power as a C63 with 1000 fewer pounds... holy sh$t.

Got to be honest, off the bat, it seems a bit too busy. Too many vents and autobot looking bits to it. Almost look like the C6 was transforming into a Camaro + 599 GTO (bad version) and didn't complete a transformation.

Interior looks like it's improving a bit, but that steering wheel - yuck. Seats look better and worthy of a higher end sports car.

The one part I do like is the rear windshield, nice little retro stingray touch.

I agree, but I think a dark color will help a lot with this, making the black vents and slashes blend in.

Hopefully this will make low-mileage, used C6 Z06s even cheaper!

^Looks good, but those pics make it look like a toy car....

Has the car gained any weight? Typically impressed how corvettes and 911s can keep the weight down with new models.

No official weight yet but should be close to the C6. More weight in interior trim, less in chassis (aluminum now) and other areas. They were hoping for sub-3000 but didn't get there.
