Getting ready to flat white the M3 sedan

Updated pictures the trunk came in...

Much thanks to Joe@EuroDyne/Carbon 8 for coming through on this 1 of a kind trunk.

The body shop said "this trunk is just like OEM with 1/4 of the weight" just tells you the type of the product they put out at EuroDyne/Carbon 8

The body shop is taking the car apart to flat white it for Sema

Some pictures as they are taking it apart, I will keep everyone updated...

It will be wet sanded down, then shot with a flat clear. The shop has done many flat painted cars, and suggested a full paint job, but since this was a pretty much last minute thing, with less then 3 weeks left, there is no time.

Cross your fingers, I hope it comes out amazing.

There is no point to do a full paint job, your cars paint looked flawless at the meet last week... You made the right move man, don't sweat.

Its how you want to do it, for example on my car the rear and front windsheild are being removed all the moldings, door handles, grilles, and etc. All that is labor, its between $3500-$4500 if you want it done right.

Thank you man, the reason I wanted it re painted was because they re painted a white Range Rover flat white the other week and added a marble look to the white (look amazing), that is why I wanted to re paint so it could get that marble look, but not enough time.

TheShop in Culver Cit, CA. They just finished this G35 Matte Black, looks amazing! Still at the shop, maybe I'll take some pictures.
