Ohlins part number question

I am about to pull the trigger on buying a set of Ohlins R&T but there seems to be two slightly different part numbers available.

BMS-MI40 and BMS-MI40S1. At first it seemed like a US/Euro part number difference but there is a $400 price difference and I can't seem to find a reason why. Anyone have any insight before I buy? Thanks.
