HELP! engine noise and shake on my sister car?

when i turn on the engine, about a min the engine start shaking. the RPM needle goes up and down like it about to stall then fire back up. Everytime I step on the gas, the engine start shaking. On the freeway, everytime i step on the gas the engine start shaking, when i let go the gas or keep it at one speed its fine. cant really explain it, but the engine shake and has this pulsing sound. Im thinking its a misfire, so im gonna change the spark plug tomorrow but i cant think of anything else that cause the engine to shake when press on gas or at idle but going at the same speed or let go the gas the car is fine. Its a 94 acura integra non vtec automatic. What do you guys think it is?

My friend had the same prob in his 99 accord......the rpm would go keep hovering.....he said it was something to do with a butterfly valve.....anyway....it didnt cost much though......

Check the oil levels, I know it may sound stupid but that could be it.
