Keyhole Delete

Does anyone know the part number for the OEM keyhole delete covers on E92 M3 2010 Alpine White? Where can I get them?

I have found them to be okay, however, the difficulty is they ship from Canada and returning things across the border from the US is a royal pain.

Worth every penny. Will be my first mod, those locks are so easy to pop

anyone know if it effects the auto unlock convenience?

What I did was just order a prepainted rear drivers side door keyhole cover. Had the dealer do the install. Never need to order out of the US.

Does the keyhole cover just pops out, or does it require removal of door panel to pop it (or unscrew it) from the inside? I'd think about it if the former, but definitely leave it alone if the latter. Good evening.

required quite a bit of work on my E46. I said screw it and had the dealer do it. You have to take the inner door panel off, undo screws, removing the locking mechanism and put it back together.

Just for the keyhole cover? On my E46 there was one screw under a rubber flap. Open the door driver door, pop the flap up, grab a Allen Key, unscrew, comes right out. Put the new one in, screw back in. Takes < 5min. I just did it last night.

AFAIK, Bimmian has a very poor reputation.

Ditto that, you beat me to it.

It was a 3 min. job (going slow) on the E46.

really?? i unscrewed that piece and i couldn't get it off. Dealer did it and i recall tell me they had to undo a screw on the inner door. I remember there being the screw on the side of the door that wasn't enough to get it off.

Oh well i'll give it a shot when the new car gets here!

Yep it is very straight forward, just an allen key to unbolt it once you access the hole.
