The quad-setup on the E46 looked great because of the "chunkier" design. Sometimes when I see the E92 M3, the quads look a little cheap. It's not that big an issue though to be honest, at least not compared to the other things I mentioned.

Regarding the sidevents, the E46's chrome vents were much thinner. The E92 might have only 1 strip, but its very chunky and it the contrast with paint other than silver/ssII is terrible!

I went this morning to check out the car in daylight but they must have just moved it and the clubman that was next to it b/c the parking spot was dry and everywhere else was wet from the snow/sleet that fell the night before...needless to say I was pissed...

no problem, I really need to see the IB in person again, I haven't hung out w/ my M5boys in a while so I need to see SS2 and IB close up again so I can make my final choice b/w the 2 before my order goes in (hopefully soon) just waiting on f-ing SA to stop bs-ing

The video rocks! The rear turn signals show up as VERY white in contrast to the blue and the chrome tipped quads. Possibly just the camera doing it though.

Thanks for the pics.

Good to see you are always thinking of me.
Do you not agree? Most of the pics on m5board are huge. Some are down right gigantic. Tell me you haven't noticed that.

It is actually an issue with E90post which allows the pasting of photos directly into the body of the post rather than by attachment.

On M5board, you cannot post pics directly into the body, it must be by attachment.

BTW, my links to M5board are not to spam but to give credit to the members there to the greater BMW community.

No, even the attachments on m5board are huge.

I never said they were spam. I like content. Keep it up.

Looks like North American customers are not going to get the EDC. Both the cab (Detroit MS) and the sedan here don't have the EDC button in the center console. Would someone like to shed some light on this?

Is EDC an option for North America or not? I thought a show car especially the cab being unveiled for the first time will be fully optioned. But to my surprise the middle button is missing.Just curious

Curious....Would BMW packaged EDC with DCT in the US?

Yes it is an option either by itself or w/ the Technology package...we will be getting EDC I guess BMW just didn't bother building the auto show cars w/ it since "for now" they'll just be sitting there and who knows what they do w/ auto show cars after so many people have sat in them and rolled the gears w/ the car being stationary and not even ON, also w/ out the clutch being engaged...

I don't think anyone thinks that it is spam. There is absolutely nothing wrong with giving credit to the source and linking to it.
