Need my brake pads changed... what do I need to buy?
I went to Tischer and found the pads for the front and rear. Do I need to buy anything else? Do I need to get new sensors? Is there a kit somewhere? Not sure if there is a cheaper place to get them.
Also, was looking at StopTech Pads http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-12...35-e9x-m3.aspx Last edited by M0J0; 12-14-2013 at 10:06 AM.. |

I have read and been told by BMW to get new sensors, especially if your pads were warn down pretty far. But I've had mine tied off for my BBK and will probably always keep it that way. I think BMW would suggest to put to caliper retaining clips on too but not 100%. I know you can get away with reusing the original ones as long as you don't bend them while trying to remove them.

I went with Stoptech, bought some stainless lines, and ATE fluid. Mine as well do that while I am changing all the pads.
