Correct, I don't believe the numbers posted here are accurate. Below is what is reported on motortrend 15k miles; add 2% to 15k residual for 12k, add 3% to 15k residual for 10k (i.e. 1% above 12k residual).

2013 LEASE

Term (24 mon)
APR - 3%
Residual % - 65%
Money Factor - (0.00125)

Term (30 mon)
APR - 3%
Residual % - 62%
Money Factor - (0.00125)

Term (36 mon)
APR - 3%
Residual % - 59%
Money Factor - (0.00125)

Term (42 mon)
APR - 3%
Residual % - 50%
Money Factor - (0.00125)

Great info, just wondering how to actually calculate and figure out the monthly lease payments between 24 month and 36 month leases. Thank you. Not sure how all this is working. I never leased a car before, only purchase.

You can use online calculators like the one at the link below, but I actually prefer to use an iPhone app called iLeaseCarPro (no affiliation, it's just clean and easy to use).

For doing by hand and better understanding...

Does anyone know how a cross country dealer trade might affect the pricing negotiations?? Im currently in the market for an M3 but the configuration I want is about 2,000 miles away. I cant buy direct from that dealer because I have a trade. Is it still possible to pay 1-2k over invoice or will I be looking at close to sticker?

Thanks for your help
