The fitment was the one thing that bothered me a little bit but I got over it as soon as I felt the performance.

Also, in IMO, if the proper seal is NOT created, dust particles and other small debris could potentially get sucked into the engine. Not good. Other then that, I give technocraft 2 thumbs up.
Let me get this right, you paid alot of money for something that doesn't fit right. Then you claim this lack of seal isn't good for the engine, but you give them 2 thumbs up?

No wonder technocraft doesn't fix this issue, plenty of suckers willing to praise them for the crappy design.

Read the thread. I wasn't the one that paid 1600 for the whole system, so you got it wrong. Try again.

I know you weren't. You were the person who gave them two thumbs up after acknowledging that the lack of a good seal may harm your engine. I think that's so comical. Form over function.

two letters R&D, they released that thing the day after it was done. people will talk smack about Dinan and how there prices are high but there lookin pretty damn good right about now to me

Techno supposedly fixed all these issues and did dyno tests and all that but i guess you still need the tape

there is a guy on here who made a fix for it that works like the Dinan one, i say hit him up and see if he will make you one. i replied joking he would get alot of business now but it may not turn out to be a joke

techno should hire him to lol

So, let me re-iterate what I was saying. Other then the fitment issues, MY experience with the charge-pipe has been great. The 2 thumbs up was actually for everything else besides fitment i.e. performance and aesthetics(1 thumb for performance and 1 thumb for aesthetics). Although fitment wasn't all that great, I fixed it and got over it. I guess that's why I'm not bothered too much about it. What's so comical about that? I said, "Read the thread" but maybe you just need to 'READ MY POST'. Carefully, I might add.

And, actually, it's function over form. Especially within this context. The form of the charge pipe isn't all that but I felt some improvement in function/performance. The charge-pipe used in conjunction with fabspeed x-pipe(non-resonated) really made a difference. Had the x-pipe on first and it was ok. With charge-pipe + x-pipe, the difference in the mid-range rpm's was definitely more apparent. Btw, you got it wrong again. I think that's so comical . Function over form, smart guy.

^^

you really thought your X pipe was just ok?? i thought mine was amazing. most are gaining 20hp and 20tq and is about the best bolt on you can do for this car.

cmon you really felt that much difference from the intake?? i felt some improvement but nothing to write home about, now the midpipe that is another story made my car feel like a different animal all together

It wasn't really just from the intake, it was more of combination of intake + x-pipe that made the difference. I think intake alone, I probably would have seen minimal gains. It's just that once I had both on, I could really, really tell the difference. With just the x-pipe I could mos def feel a difference just not as much as with the intake. 20hp and 20tq?? That's what I'm talkin bout!! I was thinking more along the lines of 13-15hp and 13-15tq. I believe that's what fabspeed is claiming, anyways. Which x-pipe do you have??

Also, i always thought that the best bolt-on was a mid-pipe upgrade? My AKRA should be here soon....

Nice!! Originally, I was going for Dinan mid-pipe also, but an offer I couldn't refuse came up with the AKRA so I took it. Do you have technocraft charge-pipe as well?
