The exhaust bolts on without any problems or modifications necessary. It sounds GREAT! It doesn't sound "ricey" nor does it drone. It brings out the true sound of the naturally aspirated M3 with a very tight sounding, rev happy, joy thrilling note to thy ears! You'll want to drive your M3 even more with this addition! Looks great with the sporty cut angled straight pipe! Not that unsightly rolled tip appearance of many aftermarket exhausts.
