It doesn't have to be the fastest thing on 4 wheels, but it is one of the most well-rounded cars on the market.

You guys need to lighten up on Jay and get a life. Most people on this forum have 1 car 2 max and the time to memorize all the facts and figures on BMWs. Leno has 200 cars and a staff of 12 to take care of them. He earns $20million a year!! I'm guessing he has a little more on his mind than knowing the diff between a 2009,2010 and 2011 M3.

Sounds like a lot of jealousy to me.

Don't tell me everyone here wouldn't like to have Jay's resources to indulge our car habits....

Why some are getting so worked up and so adamantly defending this douche is beyond me. Why are you guys taking it so pesonally that we are pointing out the gross mistakes he made in taping this episode of Jays garage. He just wasn't prepared. He used to be the hardest working comedian in the biz, now he's just gotten lazy and cranks out shitty jokes and shitty car reviews.

I hate blanket statements like that, NOTHING. The video just very informative, in fact alot of the information was just plain wrong! I'll write/right the script for him.... "the hood which carries over and incorporates bmw's 'powerdome' from the last generation M3, some say is to aggressive but it is neccessary just to be able to accomidate the V8. The hood also has these 2 vents, one of which is actually functional. The hood is made of aluminum in order to reduce weight in the front of the vehicle and to achieve as close to 50/50 wieght distribution that BMW is famous for. The flared front fenders are made of a lightweight plastic for the same reason!"

The way he was looking at the car and the trunk, it was like the video just captured him looking at the thing for the first time. He looked like somebody just woke him up and told him 'hey we want you to review the M3 for Jays garage". For those of you getting your panties in a bind because some see Jay for the fathead, big chin, mean spirited, out of touch, fraud he is, FYI, the tool box has been relocated on the passanger side of the trunk just above the battery.

Yeah there is no better brakes, wheels, suspension out there. lol, just another example of how out of touch Jay is.

For those that think that anyone who dislikes Jay Leno is just a jealous hater I will address that. I dislike people for who they are, not for what they have. I am quite happy with what I have. I don't need hundreds of cars to fill any void in my life. I have a beatiful wife, kids, family, friends and yes I have things too(M3's and various other cars I've owned). But things are at the bottom of my priority list. For people like Jay, nothing is ever enough. Everything is a competition. What a miserable way to go through life. I have known people like that, always in a race with you, to one up you. I can't hang out with people like that, I find it annoying. In the end do you want to be surrounded by true and meaningful relationships or by a bunch of people on your payroll that kiss your ass because you have alot of money? I know which scenario I prefer.....

Some of you guys need to just relax and not be so anal about the details. Bottom line is, he gave a very positive review of the car. I doubt he'll lose any sleep from the criticism. For Jay Leno to give a nod to the M3 is more than enough.

he did not seem to excited about it when he was talking about the car especially calling it a sedan; but it def looks like when he stepped on it; he was really surprised on how the call responded. you can tell that he was not faking that. he was in the middle of his sentence and stopped with a whooa of excitment!

The BMW marketing rep at the Long Beach race even said the road car has 440hp.
