Other alternatives instead of OEM EPS Amp?

I have a question, Is there any other alternatives instead of buying a oem eps amp from dealership for 2000 dollars or so.

I really don't want to spend that kind of money on just an amp itself.

Is there other brands that have the same specs as a eps amp or am I out of luck?

You could always buy aftermarket with special harness(forum members) so yu dont have to cut wires and such. You will also get better results I hear.
