You gotta love GM. It must have been a very sad day for Saab enthusiasts when GM bought them out.

The Tahoe will be a good people mover and trailer tower for 30k less for sure.

GM is releasing them now to get sales going...it's do or die time.

I had a '94 Saab, the first year of Gm's reign, and it was problematic to be sure, but still a pretty good ride for the money, and it went a long way before I sold it.

In typical GM fashion it seems short sighted. It's probably a good sales incentive to buy a car a full year before its actual model year. God forbid it does well they'll be releasing 2008 models by the summer. They've already destroyed the integrity of their retail pricing, they might as well do the same for the integrity of their model years. Granted BMW did the same with the E90, but at least most of those were popping up in the fall of 2005.

none is not an amount, zero on the other hand is

none over infinity is undefined.
zero over infinity is zero.

well, if you want to nitpick Ward's argument, I don't think your deductions are logical. If you're saying "none" is not an amount, i.e. does not have a numerical value, then you would never divide "none" over infinity, that's like saying, for example, "the letter D over infinity is undefined"

BMW needs to do the same thing with the 7 series. After the redesign, it has finally started to grow on me, but that column shifter still bothers me.

But you're right, column shifters should have gone away in the 70's with the front bench seat.

My reasoning is very logical and is that of basic math. None is not an integer, zero is. When talking about math, you cant refer to a quantity as none.

On a site note:
None is not a noun.
Zero is a noun.

But I hate english...
