not a big fan of the m3 front bumper, I thought they would make it more aggressive looking. oh well. love the rear though. The plate will be in the trunk for sure.

How many cars can you name that have different front bumper (covers) as an OEM option. I can think of precisely zero.

BMW frequently offers aero-kits for non M-cars, and the aero front on the e92 looks more agressive than this rendition of the new M. Porsche offers a very different aero front bumper (w/ aero package) for the non GT-x 911's. It's a nice option, and a cash cow for the maker. I like the idea of the M-3 being a bit understated, but adding a aero package for those who want the more agressive look. I personally think that the e9x cars look better with the less agressive trim... it just goes with the design, IMHO, but many M-owners will want more visual bling for differentiation from the 335i's, as if the engine note, badges, hood, and fender bulges arent enough.

Sure complete aero kits are commonplace. It is just that the original post sounded like the fellow just wanted a specific option for the front bumper only. Also an aero kit is obvisouly not an available nor sound idea for an M3 option.

This is my new all time favorite; I like it more than the M5 bumper photoshop. I have new hope that the final product will be like this or very close to it.

Here are his threads, with Bad Ass Photoshop:

newbie boy comments on new M3

just joined the forum so be kind if i go over old ground...

all of the images i have seen have indicated that the new M3 is quite soft looking and i as yet i am not convinced that i would part with my money for it to replace my current E46 M3 CS...

i do hope it gets beefed up and lowered (all cars shown seen to ride quite high)

in europe BMW needs to ensure that the new M3 is better, more aggresive and faster than the current exceptional (but i would never buy one) Audi RS4 that is the fastest road car i have driven...

come on BMW give us a beast...

cheers

(great site chaps)

yeah the Rs4 is fast and has amazing brakes but I think the e46 M3 is more thrilling and I prefer the driving dynamics of it already.

I have an e92 coupe which I love and the next M3 can only be heavenly.

What I don't understand is, if so many people take pics of these cars parked somewhere in cold climates, WHY OH WHY can't they just take that tape off??

I agree, I will keep my current E46 M3, and maybe, just maybe, I`ll buy the new E92 M3................................but it better be good. Yes the looks could be a little more aggresive, yes a little bit lower. Just a few days...................let us be surprised.................................
