I believe somebody could do this in a manual, would just take a HELL of a driver. If road and track was getting 12.5 bone stock in a manual, I could easily see that driver getting an 11.9 with the same bolt on mods and nittos. Congrats on your runs though, absolutely awesome!

I agree, if Lee Mathews gets a hold of one, it will happen for sure. He holds the E46 NA record 12.2 at 112 MPH.

If we were bracket racing I believe so in this run,he had a better reaction time this is why he was ahead in this run, but ET wise I went faster on that run, 11.8 to 11.9, but that car has a better ET than me in other runs, so essentially he is a tad faster.

Here's another vid my buddy shot, showing one of the 119 trap runs, with a 12.1 ET, the other was a 11.92.

It was in the low 50's, it felt very cool out, and the DA was negative, great conditions.

Do you think if it was any cooler you could squeak out a tenth or so?
However, I know it makes traction more difficult.

I do think it's doable. The DA early that morning was around -1000! With traction in that air, possibly an 11.7 at 120. When we ran it was around -200 to + 100' i believe.

Andy, thanks man, I've seen MHP cars in action and they are VERY IMPRESSIVE, excellent job. Dad's C63 just flat out moves, and he is a very cool guy as well. Good to see you in the BMW market, no doubt the products I've seen from you have produced awesome results.

hey DLSJ5...

This sounds fishy to me... are you using the same "secret ingredient X" in your petrol that coke uses in their drinks?

lol, not sure what you're referring to, but I can assure you without a doubt that there is nothing fishy whatsoever about the runs.

Hey Drew,

What kind of drag radials are you running and which set up? Would love to get on radials as well.. Ran a 12.2 on street 19" tires.. Hoping to break 12s in spring time with radials.

Do you also have line lock? Or do turn traction off, slam down the accelerator and hold the brakes? I manage to do a mini burn out the last time I did that but clutch eventually hooked up and I moved forward.

Good stuff man

Thanks man. They are street legal Nitto 555R drag radials 18", 285's, I run them on Velocity Motoring CSL reps. No line lock, I use burnout mode to heat the tires, you mash the pedal, let the car start to burnout than apply the brakes and hold as long as you need too. A 12.2 on street tires is flat out impressive, you could hit 11's with some traction, nice job Bro, what was your trap?

I see you have the 3.62's how much do you think they helped?

Some people say the shorter ratio might slow the car down... to be honest, I don't know.. considering that our DCT shifts soo fast. Then again, I use launch control for my best run.. from what I'm hearing, you have your traction control off and you just throttle in; is that correct? I might try to get a set of radials for spring time then.

Awesome job man - really nice stuff. I still remember last spring, everyone doubted that our M3s will break 11s. Your run clearly shows that a well tuned M3 will shatter the 12 second mark! Keep pushing it!
