Fed statement - BMWUSA Pricing
Who wants to bet that BMWUSA will release the pricing very shortly after tomorrows Fed meeting? I bet they are waiting to see how much Bernanke is cutting the interest rate and will be releasing the pricing promptly after that.

Place your orders now! ...we'll announce pricing later. Ridiculous.
Epacy, I hope you're right.

I'll bet you won't see pricing until models are on the dealer lots...
Even then, you might need to sign the contract before they tell you the price, based on how things are going.

I can't tell if you are serious or being sarcastic - the trouble with the internet.
I would love to hear this week on the price, but I really doubt we'll hear before mid to late January at the soonest.

I doubt that Fed's decision will change BMW's thinking on price. Fed meets often, and they mess with the interest rates all the time, so I don't see how a company can base product pricing on a monthly decison associated with a variable that fluctuates.

While I love your optimism, I'm not getting my hopes up! It has just been one let down after another with these guys lately. I'm really pissed about the possibility that we may not see DCT for quite sometime. Anyway, that's another thread that's been beat to death. I hope you are right.

I think it is going to be quite a while longer. I heard that 335i pricing was not available in NA until cars were on the lots. I suspect the same with the M3.

I too wouldn't hold my breath on pricing this year guys.
Face it, there is plenty of demand for the M3, they do not need to rush into pricing it. In Australia, BMW released pricing five weeks before the car was released. When I ordered within two days of pricing and specifications being released, I had to wait four months for delivery. |
