Strap Drive
Kits to fit the 19" wheels were released recently, which are being very well received in Europe. They can't seem to keep them on the shelves over there. Very soon the 18" wheel versions will join them. Both front kits will use the latest in Strap Drive technology, which is proving superior to floating discs for road car and track day applications. This patented arrangement allows all the necessary disc movement and thermal expansion with no moving parts, eliminating the customary maintenance and noise issues.
I can see at least 3 forum-supporting vendors here that have access to these, so you can speak with regarding pricing, etc. There may be more, but I haven't figured out how to get to the full list yet. Maybe tomorrow as my brain it telling me it is time to leave... |

Why do people feel the need to post this? If you sent a pm, he will get it. The rest of us don't care.

Are you all set Chris?

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Vendors do this to bump their threads, but you have a point about the non-vendors.
