18" BBS LM Reps - Can it fit e92 M3?
Hello,
I just bought an e92 M3 this past weekend! (Changed from e46 M3 -> Z4M Coupe -> e92 M3). So after aspiring to again own an M3, I am one of you guys again, haha. (It felt like a long long wait.) Anyway, the first thing I noticed with my new M3 is that my 18" winter tire package (bought from the dealer for my Z4M) does not clear the brakes on the M3. So I am looking for new rims to mount my winter tires on; I saw an ad for 18" BBS LM Reps on a local BMW forum and I was wondering if you guys had any idea whether they would fit on my new M3? The specs for the wheels are: 18x8.5", ET +35, center bore 72.56mm, 5x120 bolt pattern Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank you. |

You'll need 4 15mm spacers as a minimum. You are on your own as to whether the wheels will clear your front brakes.

The wheels will clear the brakes no problem. it's going to be stupid skinny in the rear as that is an 1" narrower then stock.
FYI, those are photos of real BBS LM's I can tell from the front and back that they are not reps. If the guy is selling them as cheap reps, and you check them out in person, then pick them up even though they aren't ideal for you car. You can flip them and make good money. hopefully the guy isn't posting someone else's photos ie scam. real lm's have bbs stamped info on the face around the lugs, including the logo on one of the spokes on the front. reps won't have that. |
