bmw see all the crazy prices thats out there for aftermarket exhaust systems. so its only fair that they join the race. so far eisenmann and akrapovic are in the lead, but eisenmann do have the best price for their exhaust. also it look and fit best on the M3.

Some shots of my Eisenmann for comparison:

uhh..that must be a catless/res delete eisenmann set up because I know for a fact it don't sound like that with just mufflers.. I'm sure the M exhaust would sound close to that if you ran catless+ no resonators too

That is the ugliest looking exhaust ever for our cars. The first pics of the thing had the Muffler undercoated. In silver it really shows off how bad it looks. The tips look cool but that's the one part that should NOT be titanium, they should be polished stainless. Titanium turns dingy brown.

For the price? BMW can jam this thing up their ass sideways.

I remain unconvinced that these tips are 1mm smaller in diameter than stock. Are our tips actually 75mm, and if so, are these really 74mm?

same here...i need to see it installed in person...i refuse it buy it if the tips are smaller than 75mm...Stock tips already look dinky and weak sauce....i need these to be 80mm AT LEAST..

i will say tho, from the way the video is shot, it does seem on the small and skinny side

What I don't get is that this should be the stock Exhaust on the M. When you get into a new Ferrari the last thing you are thinking is... "man I need to do something about this exhaust note", because it sounds bad ass right from the factory.

Agreed.
It would have been great if is was stock, but NO WAY for the kind of money they'll want for it.

I can't imagine seeing a waiting list for these appearing at the dealers.

Looking at the video, the tip on the far right hand side looks slightly lower than the others

BTW, I think the oem tips are 70mm

Ideally if this was already there stock would be great, but to charge an arm and a leg they have to be kidding if it does indeed end up being as pricey as its expected to be.

I just refuse to believe it's gonna be that expensive here in the US. They'd be crazy. Hell $3500 is crazy but I'd probably buy it for that.

Thanks to whoever posted that Eisenmann race exhaust. Not what I'm looking for ... no offense (seriously) but I'm not a fan of the note and not looking for something that will attract that much attention. I basically want a modestly more obnoxious exhaust with minimal drone.

Of course considering true performance gains would be a different calculus but I get the impression no one is going to make any real number gains with a muffler.

So here's to something below $3k. I'd buy it for that

No, stock tips are 75mm measured from outside edges. I've measured it precisely.

I need this performance exhaust to be larger otherwise it's a deal breaker for me

ehhh. i wouldn't pay more for that; I'd rather keep the stock exhaust. Upgrade would definitely be an aftermarket one i.e. Eisenmann.
