What OP means in a very confusing way is that there are no warning or fault codes / lights on the dash.

It appears that car is completely fixed after recovery and back to its fully functioning original form.

However, I dont know why an insurance company will salvage 50K car for 2 bumpers and set of lights.

Was there any major body damage? What areas of the car were repainted besides hood & bumpers?

GLWS OP. Price seems fair if you have the pictures of the car after recovery.

2 bumpers and set of lights = 8000 and that's being generous. but Not sure why they would salvage 50K over 8k

Sounds like it was in an accident too. I haven't seen a salvage car go for more than $30k. You may want to provide better pictures to help your cause.

Yeah, that car has absolutely been in an accident. No one steals a car and only takes parts that would be expected to be damaged in a front end collision.

I bought 08 m3 2 years back
Only thing was stolen was rims and 2 bumpers its salvage

Some states do require a title to be considered salvage if a vehicle was stolen and eventually recovered, regardless of its condition. But with that much missing/damaged it definitely sounds like enough for insurance to write it off. It's possible the car was stolen to replace parts on a different car that was in an accident. Anyways, hope you find the right person to sell it to!
