How much did you pay for your used M3?

Found a M3 close enough and wanted to see what you guys think its worth.

2008 E92 Black with red interior
19,500 miles
6MT with shortshifter installed
Carbon Fiber Roof
19" OEM Black GTS rims with brand new Michelins
Asking 43,900 with no warranty

Thats not bad.

I have a 2008 E90 bought it with 18.5k miles has every option you can get. Paid 43.5 for it.

Got trade values from $46,500-47,500 towards a Porsche, Carmax buy bid $47k.
If I was to sell it privately, I'd have to get >$50,500 to break even with the tax credits I can apply on a trade.

Seems pretty reasonable. A few months back I was considering trading in my 08 M3 (but didnt). Had about 65k miles on it. Dealer offered me $30k but indicated they would be willing to go up.

What do mean? Typically when buying used people want everything since you are paying pennies on the dollar for options. Prem package, tech package, comp pack (depending on year) are what most people would look for.

I guess what i mean is what are the most desirable options. Coming from the e46 m3 platform this was typically:

6mt, coupe, ext AW, int IR etc. Just trying to guage what most people are after.

For me it seems like 09+ is a big factor for tech, dct/mt is mixed... but seems harder to find a 6mt. (wondering if going to have the same effect as SMG over time)..etc.

you paid the equivalent of about $54k-$55k for this car if you discount the estimated invoice value of the CPO. Could have done better by maybe $1k less or so, but hey, you win some, you loose some.
