None

Item Interest
I have a set of 2011 OEM 219 style 18s in silver. They have no scratches, curb rash, nothing. They come with the OEM pilot sport tires with about 2500 miles on them. They do NOT come with TPMS.

Price is 1200 shipped.

Edit: Correction these are the 219s, not the 260. My mistake. Either way, these are the Silver 18s that come on the 2011 now.

Tires

I just bought these tires/wheels, brought them home and come to find out one of the rear tires has a huge bulge in the sidewall. Seller described them as perfect.

So far seller has not returned my calls.

I emailed you back hours ago. I will include email on this forum if you're going to be impatient and post up negative things.

FYI. These were sold as-is. And for $1000 for both wheels AND tires, even if you HAD to replace that tire, you still got them for less than what you can find them for on here.

PS. You and your buddy show up to pick up the tires and your friend with the 1 series is already talking about getting the tires and putting them on his car and you tell me you are just getting them for the rims so you can put winter tires on them for the winter. Why are you so concerned about the tires now when you KNOW you still got wheels/tires for the price of 3 of the tires.

If you are so upset about it, how about you come back, and give me the wheels back and i will give you your money back.

Others beware of General. Please read his original post..."2011 OEM 219 style 18s in silver. They have no scratches, curb rash, nothing. They come with the OEM pilot sport tires with about 2500 miles on them." Nothing was ever said about one of the rear tires having a bulge in the sidewall and being no good.

Now that I drove 8 hours to pick them up and discovered the problem he is unwilling to do anything except make me drive another 8 hours round trip to return them. I asked for him to either pay for the gas to return them or give $200 back to help cover the cost to replace the rear tire.

He comments that my friend was talking about wanting the rear tires to put on his car...that was BEFORE he found out GENERAL sold me a bad tire. Also, I don't just give perfectly good tires away; he was going to pay me for the tires.

Bottom line is the sale was advertised as 4 perfect rims and 4 tires with only 2500 miles on them. It turns out it was only 4 rims and 3 good tires. If you bought bad merchandise from a vendor you would expect them to pay for the shipping to return the item. All I asked of GENERAL is for the $120 in gas money for the 8 hour round trip to return the tires or $200 to help cover the cost of the bad tire.

GENERAL was just caught in his dishonesty.

For $1200? Grow up, dude, a new tire and you're still less than most pay.

no, for $1000...

But i have already offered to give him his $1000 back and i will take the wheels/tires. And uses the excuse of gas...when he was already in the area since he drove to the Nurburgring. Besides the fact, that if you had a problem you should have looked at the tires and pointed it out. Sounds to me like you just want some money even after you still got a good deal on these wheels/tires.

Another thing, i never said they were perfect. Please read your post as well as mine again. I DID say that the rims were perfect.

It does not matter what price I paid. Fact of the matter is the seller just failed to mention the bad tire. Imagine if someone stateside bought these, would he just expect the person to just pay the $200 to ship them back over to Germany.

Selling the tires for a decent deal is not an excuse for lying about the condition of the tires.

So did you even look at the wheels/tires when you picked them up?

I think the seller's offer of a full refund if you bring them back is more than fair.
