That looks amazing! I've always wondered what frozen interlagos blue would look like!

Right, mine is interlagos blue though. I've always wondered what it would look like matte, and now I can find out because I just ordered a gallon!

It's scary when you roll it on initially because it's white but eventually it turns all clear. One note - be sure when you roll it to not leave lines - it's not too bad but if you want it perfect make sure you roll evening. Also it doesn't have to be a thick coat. A thin coat does just fine. |

Also, can you post some close shots? I'm interested in the evenness of the finish. It looks even in the pics you posted and I'd mistake it for paint or wrap but does it look that good up close? Thanks!

Interesting find. Please post how it holds up to highway/high speed use. Just curious as you say it peels off for pretty easy removal. Thanks.

I had my car detailed just before painting. The detailer actually suggested not waxing so that the coating would stick. The last thing you want is the coating to bead up or something. Trust me this stuff comes off easier than it sticks. I'll see if I can take some pictures - pretty busy these days though... What I would do is test a few spots on your car - you'll see how easily it comes off. |

That looks really good. Seems like a really easy/cheap way to try the frozen thing. I assume you just masked off non painted parts, grilles, etc. and went to work? I'd like to try this on my JB.

have you tried it on the track yet? My local detail shop ordered one for me, they said they might peel off above 100mph?

I've put 2-3 coats on front and leading edged. Haven't see any self-peeling yet. But I can imagine it.... It takes a bit to start the peeling - you have to find a corner or a thin spot but it comes off like saran wrap Quote:
I suppose if you want it perfectly smooth a spray on is best. Guys keep in mind my goals are mainly to protect paint from debris and decals. (hey that rhymes) I don't car that much about aesthetics or longevity. I actually took a paint brush and added extra layers near the front and areas where there may be road rash. The texture is very different after drying - between rolled and brushed. I can see myself doing this just before track days or a long trip since it's so easily applied. |

Good luck this year! Brian will be doing more important things, but I know he'll be on the track with you in spirit!
